Not sure where to begin? Women Who Hunt Foundations is a beginner-friendly educational pathway designed specifically for women looking for a clear, safe, and supportive introduction to hunting. No prior experience, firearm licence, or gear is required.
This program breaks down the overwhelming aspects of hunting—such as legal steps, equipment, and field skills—into simple, practical guidance in a supportive, non-judgmental environment.
Weekly Curriculum
- Week 1: Start Here
- Licences, safety pathways, ethics, defining your “why,” and understanding your next legal steps.
- Week 2: Rifle & Range Confidence
- Firearm safety basics, range nerves, building rifle confidence, calibre selection, and ethical shot placement.
- Week 3: What to Take
- Essential gear, clothing, boots, knives, water, first aid, safe storage, transport, and field preparation.
- Week 4: Hunting Pathways & Next Steps
- Exploring private land options, NSW R-Licence / public land hunting, finding mentors, guided pathways, field skills, and creating your 90-day action plan.
