The Hunting Foundations module provides a comprehensive introduction to the world of hunting in Australia, equipping you with the essential knowledge to build a strong foundation for your hunting journey.
You’ll explore the cultural significance of hunting in Australia, key laws and regulations, seasonal considerations, hunting opportunities, gear selection advice, firearm storage information and firearm safety*.
Designed as the cornerstone of your learning, this information-focused module prepares you for the more practical skills covered in other modules, giving you a deep understanding of what it truly means to hunt and be a hunter in Australia.
*While the foundations course provides a general overview of hunting in Australia, applicable to all hunting styles. It specially addresses key areas concerning hunting with a rifle.
