Escape to the Nandewar Ranges for an exclusive, high-yield goat hunting experience.
Located six hours from Sydney in the rugged Great Dividing Range, our property offers over 2,900 acres of prime hunting ground. We aren’t a National Park, but we share a border with a major one. This unique location means you get “National Park numbers” without the red tape; wild goats constantly move out of the protected parkland onto our property in search of fresh feed and water.
The Hunt: Master the Terrain
Whether you are an expert trophy hunter or an intermediate shooter, our property offers the perfect variety of landscapes to test your skills:
The High Country: Stalk goats through steep, rocky terrain and ridges—their natural habitat.
The Wooded Bush: Perfect for close-range tracking and testing your stealth.
Open Fields: Ideal for long-range precision shots as goats move toward water sources.
Maximize your success: Upon request, we can lay out grain bait to encourage game into specific areas, ensuring you get the sightings you’re after.
Exclusive Access
We value the quality of your hunt and your safety. We only host one hunting party at a time, giving your group exclusive access to the entire acreage. This is why our regulars from Sydney keep coming back—it’s just you, your mates, and the mountains.
Beyond the Goat Track
While the thrill of the goat stalk is the main event, your booking includes access to a variety of other game:
Species: Wild pigs (boars), foxes, hares, rabbits, feral cats, and game fowl.
Down Time: Relax at our new cabin (a converted shipping container with kitchen and shower) or try your hand at catching a feed of yabbies in the dams.
The Essentials
Accommodation: Basic cabin facilities are available (gas stove, shower, heating, 12v outlets).
Requirements: A scanned copy of each hunter’s Firearms Licence is required. We have a strong preference for SSAA members.
Booking: We book out fast, especially for long weekends. Grab a few mates and secure your dates for a Northwest NSW adventure you won’t forget.

Features included in the cabin are a kitchen (with gas camping stove), a shower, seating, lighting, 12volt outlets and heating.
A 240 volt generator is also available at an additional cost.

(1) All inquiries are sent directly to the guide and it is the responsibility of the guide to get back to you. Hunting Trips Australia is an advertising platform only. We are not responsible for the hunting trip providers listed on our website. Any agreements or arrangements are solely between you and the provider. Conduct your own research before engaging in any hunting trips or transactions.
(2) Guides are often out hunting in remote locations and will not have access to emails or phone reception. For this reason, sometimes they can be slow in responding. Please be patient when waiting for a response.
(3) It is not uncommon for guides to be booked out 3-6 months in advance. Please keep that in mind when requesting prospective dates.
