Your Safari commences from Townsville with a short 3 hr drive to the property located on the Great Basalt Wall, Charters Towers. There you will be treated to some of the best Chital Hunting in Australia. The area is renown for some impressive heads and are regularly seen over 30 inches.
These Deer have the reputation as being one of the premier game animals in Australia and taking one with the Bow is a significant achievement.
Your accommodation is in Property House with all the modern amenities. We have Cold room for your venison and meathouse to prepare packing for the trip home.
The country has black soil flats with pockets of thick timber and basalt ridges so good strong footwear is essential. Spring fed creeks hold the famous Basalt Boars from time to time. The hunting is conducted either stalking or from Tree stands.
Hunts are conducted all year round except Jan & Feb (Wet Season). Your safari includes 1 Stag and as many Does as you can handle. Trophy Fees apply only to extra Stags.
Safaris are all inclusive except Alcohol.

So everybody who is thinking of doing a safari here are the guidlines to get what your paying for:–
Most safari operators are close to the same price but what you get for your money is a whole different thing ….. So don’t be disappointed ask for what you want and then you know what you are getting.

4. When you would like to do your trip …. Book early.
5. Advise if any special food requirements.
6. Advise how you like to hunt. (Fully Guided & Semi Guided)
