Buff Hunts commence with a Commercial Jet picking you up at Darwin (Northern Territory) Airport for the flight to the hunting area in Eastern Northern Territory. You will then be picked up by me for a short 1 to 2 hr drive depending on which camp is to be utilised. Each camp is set up with running water, tents, swags & stretchers, Showers and electricity via Generator.

Hunts are conducted during the cooler months of June & July so the daily temperature is around 25 -28c with comfortable nights around 15-18c. This area has no other Safari operators and the Buff are considered to be much quieter than their northern counterparts. The area supports excellent numbers of Buff with huge Scrub Bulls & a few large Boars mixed in. The country is open paperbark forest with some rocky areas. We don’t hunt the floodplains so the hunting is considered far better for the Bowhunter (Back up Rifle is carried at all times).

Hunts are limited to a Maximum of 4 hunts per year in Groups of 2 hunters (6 days). Any changes to number via arrangement only. Price all inclusive includes Flights to and from Hunting Area Ex Darwin.  Caping Extra. Trophy Fees apply by request.

Recommended Gear:

Minimum 70lb and 600 gr Arrows(Guide Only) Solid 2 Blade Broadhead.

Everybody asks how much when they look at doing a trip, so I say well what do you want to do and how do you want to do it…..

When you book a holiday it is the same thing….

I could just say here are the prices so go and think about it and then the client says what do I get for that price and we start over again…

So everybody who is thinking of doing a safari here are the guidlines to get what your paying for:–

Most safari operators are close to the same price but what you get for your money is a whole different thing ….. So don’t be disappointed ask for what you want and then you know what you are getting.

1. How long you want to hunt for I recommend the following.

•   Cape York Boars & Bull (10 days)
• Arnhemland Buffalo & Scrub Bull (6 days)
• Chital Deer (5 days)
• Red Deer (5 days)

2. 2.How many people are going on the trip Hunters and non-hunters. I cater for both.Recommend 1-4 in total.
3. 3.Advise if you require travel to the properties.

4. When you would like to do your trip …. Book early.

5. Advise if any special food requirements.

6. Advise how you like to hunt. (Fully Guided & Semi Guided)
