Join Zane Cameron for a focused, high-intensity 2-day/1-night meat hunt in the Victorian High Country. This trip is designed for hunters who want to bypass the trophies and focus on the craft of “bush stalking” to put high-quality meat on the table.
Using a fly camp base, we stay mobile and deep in the bush, maximizing our time in the thick of the action. Whether you hunt with a rifle or bow, this is the ultimate short-stay wilderness experience.
A Masterclass in the Meat Hunt
Perfect for those new to Sambar hunting or veterans looking to tweak their knowledge. Zane will teach you how to read the layout of the hills, understand terrain, and stalk in close. Be prepared for shots ranging from 20 to 250 yards.
This is a rugged, authentic experience. We venture into remote areas with a pack and rifle, camping strategically under a fly. It requires a solid level of fitness, as we carry minimal gear and rationed food to stay light on our feet and close to the deer.
Note: This is a physical hunt. You’ll need your gear, your rifle, and a grit-and-determination mindset. Check the Clothing PDF on-site for what you need to bring.
