Hunt Description

Wild Safaris has over 11 thousand acres of lush terrain in northern NSW, with thousands of game to hunt and 4×4 tracks connecting hunting grounds and walking tracks, Wild Safaris gives you the best hunting experience. All tours are guided by an experienced hunter who has hunted all over the world. The grounds host deer, both Red and Fallow deer, wild pigs, goats, sheep, foxes and rabbits.

All hunters use their own vehicles on the safaris so you can take advantage of your own personal setup and get the most out of the experience for hunting and camping overnight while on safaris.

Cost:

$650.00 entry/guide fee per day/per person for a rifle hunt
or $850 per day/per person for a bow hunt
+ $200 meat goat fee (only payable if you shoot/wound an animal)

This cost includes the one meat goat and use of the accommodation for 2 days.

Do I need a license?

Yes, you will need a firearms license and a Standard Gaming license for NSW. You can apply for a gaming license here: https://hunting.dpi.nsw.gov.au/licencing/dbnet.aspx?ac=rd&dbpage=licence-licenceapplication1

Is there a guide?

Yes, you will have a guide with you at all times. The guide will meet you at the pre arranged destination in the local town. From there, you will follow the guide in your own vehicle to the property and the guide will be with you 24/7 until your trip is over. There are multiple caretakers on the property in fixed locations, so in the event there is an emergency help is close by. The guide is highly experienced and will perform the site induction and firearms safety prior to you hunting.

What if there is bad weather?

Wild Safaris is just that, wild. We are in a remote area and flood is a real hazard. In the event you have a booking and it floods and there is no access to the property, we will provide you with a full refund.

Do I still have to pay if I wound a game animal, but we don’t catch it?

You will be charged for the game that you capture and/or wound. If you wound an animal and don’t catch it, we have to then search over 11,000 acres to find the animal and ethically put it down. This is why we charge for animal you wound.

Really enjoyed hunting goats with Dwyane. Managed to get 1 nanny, 1 kid and a decent billy over two days of hunting. We hunted via buddy to get to the location, then had a decent stalk on foot. Amazing properties with fun terrain. Dwayne has some brilliant access. Looking forward to hunting with him again next year. This time we will go after a red deer trophy!

You need to pre-pay for what you plan on hunting, if you don’t catch anything you will be re-funded your money for the pre-paid game. Entry fees are not refundable. We need a minimum of 72 hours notice for a refund on entry fees. This is due to the organisation and purchases that need to be made prior your attendance. You are also closing the property for the period you have booked resulting in us not able to allow anyone else into the property if you cancel. Under extreme circumstances we may offer you a refund of your entry fee if you give less than 72 hours notice.
