The winner of this hunt will head out with Mick, the Head Guide of Mick’s Sambar Science, who is an outdoors man with a lifetime of experience hunting, hiking and fishing the Victorian high country wilderness.
In the education style guided hunt you will learn What Sambar sign looks like, basic glassing methods, the importance of shot placement, basic knowledge of Sambar movement, sambar butchering and much more.
If you manage to shoot a deer on the trip all meat is yours to take home.

BONUS GIVEAWAY
Location: South Australia (Water Valley) or Victoria – winners choice. The location selection will depends both on what the winner wants to hunt, and how they want to hunt it.

How to enter:
Each time a member hosts an event or hunt in 2025, they earn one entry into the giveaway. There’s no limit to how many entries you can accumulate, and members from all tiers are eligible to participate in the giveaway.
