Hunt Description

This is a ranch style hunt for Rusa and Red Stags catering for up to 4 hunters at a time.

On this hunt you can expect to take Red stags with a minimum of 10 points & Rusa stags with a length of 32″ to 38″.
The best time for hunting the reds is from late February until mid April, with stags usually in full roar from late March until mid April.
The best time for hunting rusa is from late April until the end of June.
The hunt is on an enclosed estate consisting of steep, heavily timbered hills which give way to semi open flats.
Most of the hunting consists of stalking on foot, as the greater portion of the enclosure is inaccessible by vehicle.

Cost: $500 per day per hunter (discounted for platinum Australian Hunting Club members) + cost if trophy or meat animal is taken.

The hunt price includes: 1×1 guiding, trophy preparation and accommodation.

  • airfares
  • accommodation prior to & following hunt
  • alcoholic beverages
  • rifle hire (if required)
  • trophy fee

Rifle hire is available at $55 for the duration of the hunt

Hunters will be required to bring : binoculars, como clothing, day pack, camera, rifle & ammunition (unless hiring) & personal items such as toiletry ect.

Terms:

a deposit of $500 is required to confirm a booking & is non refundable if hunt were to be cancelled within 1 month of the dates booked.

Accommodation & Travel

Accommodation description

The accommodation will be in my trophy room or tented if we are hunting the back blocks.

The trophy room is equipped with :- hot water & shower, bathroom, kitchen, bedroom, toilet, power.
